Cut Without Hands

Daniel interprets King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream of the “stone cut from the mountain without hands, rolling forth.” At age 25, my grandparents left Saskatchewan with their children. They did not recognize what was getting larger on the horizon as they drove West- they had never seen mountains. My grandparents became American citizens, found religion, introduced higher education to their posterity, and settled at the foot of a mountain range. My parents rolled forth to the vineyards of California to raise a family. A hole is left in the Mountain, the covenant triangle appears, and the Godhead watches.
