$225.00

Monotype print (linseed oil ink), graphite, oil pastel on BFK Rives paper

6 x 6.5 inches

In a recent group discussion, it was determined that whether or not something was successful relied on the question - “What am I measuring?”

This piece is inspired by the prophet Ezekiel’s dream in the Old Testament. He is standing in a dry river bed when water begins rushing out from under the doors of the temple. The water rises to his ankles, knees, waist, and neck until he is swimming in a heavy current, fighting to stay above.

Things add up fast - what are we measuring?
